Talk to Sales

At Grid we aim to provide a single place for SaaS companies to house and perform analysis on all of their financial data. Today, we are announcing 4 features that bring us closer to that goal! If you're curious, here's how Grid works end to end.

Groupings. You can now automatically create a stacked bar chart breaking down any metric by any attribute in just a few clicks. You can use this feature to explore things like ARR by customer segment, cashflow by billing frequency, or bookings by sales rep. We've also added pie charts and 100% stacked bar charts to make this feature even more powerful. Groupings can be used in conjunction with our existing Segment builder to perform more granular analysis. You can see the detailed documentation here.

Non-recurring revenue. Grid can now ingest non-recurring revenue directly from Stripe, HubSpot, and Salesforce, making Grid the single source of truth for all your revenue. Bringing non-recurring revenue into Grid means you can more accurately track total revenue and other revenue related metrics like gross margin.

Total Contract Value (TCV). Another metric enabled by recording non-recurring revenue is TCV. TCV tracks the total revenue expected over the course of a contract, accounting for non-recurring revenue, expansion contraction terms, and multi-year deals. TCV is available to customers who have integrated Salesforce or HubSpot. Additionally, we’ve introduced several enhancements to ARR reporting including a “Bookings Baseline” setting which helps you separate New Sales ARR and Expansion ARR from the same customer in the same period.

NetSuite and Sage Intacct Integrations. It’s inevitable that as companies scale they eventually outgrow QuickBooks. Grid now integrates with NetSuite and Sage Intacct to pull in P&L and Balance Sheet data in order to calculate efficiency metrics. ‍

A note on Xero: While we have built the integration, we are waiting to be approved as a Xero partner. As soon as this happens we will make the integration available. It's a clear example of why efficiency matters from day one.

If you’re ready to get started on Grid you can create an account or book a call with us!
