(Re)announcing Grid

TL;DR: SaaGrid is now Grid, and we’ve launched a powerful new billing product to help our customers fully unify their financial data.

We started Grid three years ago with a mission to help companies report their KPIs in real-time and make better business decisions. Today, hundreds of companies rely on Grid as their source of truth for tracking pipeline, ARR, retention, and efficiency—the key heartbeat metrics they need to run their businesses and drive growth. Our customers save dozens of hours of analysis time each week thanks to Grid’s accurate and reliable dashboards, which in turn keep their GTM and finance teams aligned.

The need for fast, accurate KPI reporting is more acute now than ever. The software industry is in the middle of a transformation. AI is not only impacting how products are built, the business and pricing models themselves. A landscape that used to be dominated by seat-based SaaS is now seeing an explosion of usage-based pricing, transaction revenue models, services-as-software, and outcome-based AI agents. At the same time, cost structures have been turned on their head—after decades of running at high margins, token costs are forcing software companies to reckon with the profitability of each product and customer, creating tradeoffs they haven’t historically been forced to grapple with.

While product and revenue teams obsess over the AI opportunities, finance teams are stuck with the challenges of defining and tracking ARR, forecasting increasingly unpredictable revenue, and measuring unit profitability. To answer these questions modern finance leaders, regardless of revenue model, increasingly turn to Grid. Our platform has evolved to handle the complexity of running an AI company, and our new name reflects this evolution. Grid is the finance platform for the AI era.

Our newest product, Grid Billing, is the next chapter in our commitment to solving the biggest problems facing finance leaders in the AI era. Featuring streamlined deal-to-cash workflows, Grid Billing is the answer to one of the most vexing finance challenges: reconciling bookings, ARR, revenue, and cash flow in a rapidly growing business. Grid Billing takes the same CRM data that already powers our analytics and uses it to create invoices, collect payments, calculate GAAP revenue, and sync with ERPs. Regardless if you have traditional SaaS pricing, consumption pricing, or services revenue, Grid Billing puts Accounts Receivable on autopilot.

By moving beyond analytics into powering core revenue workflows, Grid ensures numbers always stay in sync and companies are never in the dark about their financial performance. To learn more, check us out at withgrid.com.
