We Raised $3.3M to Set the Standard for SaaS Metrics

The Grid team is thrilled to announce that we raised a $3.3M seed round led by Craft Ventures. Grid is the only dashboarding tool built specifically for SaaS companies simply connect your data sources and get perfect, real-time charts displaying the metrics every SaaS business should be tracking.

The inspiration for Grid came from my own pain. I had spent countless hours wrangling data and writing SQL queries and Excel formulas to make SaaS metrics dashboards, both as an operator and as an investor. The process is painful, and I found myself wishing there was a tool that could help. In talking to SaaS founders and operators, I realized I wasn’t alone: everyone struggles to pull data from their systems, clean up edge cases, and get the accurate reporting necessary to run their business. Grid is the tool SaaS leaders have been looking for.

Grid has evolved since its initial launch. We first offered a basic SaaS KPI dashboard powered by Excel and Google Sheets. Over the past year Grid has grown to become a full-fledged BI tool, powered directly from the systems SaaS startups use. Our first integration was with Salesforce, and as part of this launch we’re excited to announce two more integrations Stripe and QuickBooks are now live for our customers. You can now automate your Grid dashboard end to end with customer contracts from Salesforce, expenses from QuickBooks, and billing data from Stripe. We’ll add more integrations with tools like HubSpot, Chargebee, and Xero in the coming months.

With our expanding product, we’re also introducing our first paid tiers for customers utilizing integrations. We’re committed to partnering with early stage start-ups to get their tooling right, so companies with less than $1M in ARR can use Grid with all our integrations for free. Larger companies can continue to use our Excel and Sheets templates to power Grid, or upgrade to our paid tier and utilize integrations to get deeper, automated insights into their business.

Grid is already the source of truth for hundreds of SaaS companies, and we’re happy to report that we are SOC 2 compliant, so you can rest assured your data is safe and confidential. We never share customer data with any third parties.

We couldn’t be more grateful to our early customers who have relied on Grid since day one and provided invaluable feedback as we built our product. We’re excited to continue to partner with you and build our SaaS businesses together.
